Two alleged child sex offenses have put a prominent Pakistani politician, who is the scion of a well-known political dynasty from Mansehra, Abbotabad, on trial.
Information on how 60-year-old Muhammad Khurram Khan entered the UK earlier this year to attend his son’s law graduation ceremony has surfaced. However, Khan allegedly had sex with a youngster for sex purposes and was apprehended by investigators.
Khurram faces two charges at Kingston Crown Court, according to the prosecution: “attempted sexual communications with a child” and “arranging or facilitating commission of a child sex offence.”
Khurram, a member of the Khan khel clan and guest on a visitor’s visa in the UK, came before the court via video link at the Kingston Crown ourt from his cell in Wandsworth Prison. He was arrested earlier this year and has not been bailed yet.
