Late on Thursday night, a van near the Malam Jabba district of Swat crashed down a steep ravine, injuring six passengers and killing at least seven others, according to News.
Police report that a van carrying twelve employees of a nearby hotel made a fast bend and plummeted over a gorge, killing seven people instantly and seriously wounding six more.
Following notification, Pakistani military soldiers arrived at the Malam Jabba location and transported the wounded and deceased to the hospital.
A similar tragedy occurred in Washuk, Balochistan on May 29, when a bus flipped and plummeted into a ditch, killing at least 27 people.
Women and children were among the dead, and the police claimed that speeding was the cause of the accident.
Rescue workers arrived at the scene shortly after the accident and moved the injured and dead to the Basima Civil Hospital.
