According to the news on Thursday, two accused robbers disguised as police officers stole items from a house in the Millat Park neighborhood of Lahore.
The victim stated that the perpetrators, who were dressed in police uniforms, forced their way inside the house while posing as CIA employees and left after robbing it of its valuables.
“During the robbery, the intruders persisted in posing as law enforcement officials,” the resident asserted.
The victim added that the suspected robbers took away eight cell phones and Rs 225,000 in cash during the incident.
In the interim, the victim has submitted a request for legal action against the unidentified parties.
Earlier, seven individuals wearing Punjab police uniforms broke into a house in a previously unheard-of incident near Hadyara.
Details indicate that the thieves took motorcycles, cash, and jewelry valued at Rs 3.5 million from the residence.
The local police station has received a complaint from the residents on the occurrence, and an official case has been opened.
On March 18, a man was arrested in Lahore for reportedly misbehaving and assisting a traffic police officer.
