ISLAMABAD: On Sunday, at least three suspects in a car lifting incident were shot and murdered by their own accomplices in Islamabad.
According to a spokesman for the Islamabad Police, police have been hunting down people who are part of a violent group that steals cars.
The representative claimed that both human sources and Safe City security cameras were used to obtain information about the group. The official continued, “They had even mapped out a route of their travel pattern.”
Following information from sources that the group had moved on to Murree, teams from the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS), CRT, and Anti-Vehicle Lifting Cell (AVLC) established unique roadblocks at several areas, according to Islamabad Police.
