Irish Air Line Pilots Association (IALPA) members began an indefinite work-to-rule on Wednesday at midnight.
This Saturday, there will be an eight-hour strike from 5:00 to 13:00 BST.
There was no agreement reached during separate talks between the IALPA and Aer Lingus on Tuesday in the Labour Court in Dublin.
The airline announced that it will review the matter in July and expressed its unhappiness with the Labour Court’s decision to stay out of the matter.
“Aer Lingus will continue to focus on minimising the disruption caused to customers by IALPA’s industrial action,” a statement said.
The airline said that it “has made it clear that it remains available for discussions both ways.”
Aer Lingus reports that the strike has resulted in the cancellation of 270 flights total.
All of Aer Lingus’s planned regional flights, flown by Emerald Airlines, including its transatlantic flights to and from Manchester will continue.
It required IALPA to “consider the harm that its ongoing industrial action is causing to the company, the Irish economy, and passengers.”
On the airline’s website, you can see the complete list of canceled flights through July 2.
