The military’s propaganda wing stated on Tuesday that after a gunfight between security forces and terrorists in the North Waziristan district, two terrorists were slain and the captain accepted martyrdom.
“During the fierce engagement, own troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, as a result of which two terrorists were sent to hell,” according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
However, the statement went on to say that, having battled valiantly, Captain Muhammad Osama bin Arshad (age: 24; inhabitant of Rawalpindi District) paid the ultimate sacrifice and accepted Shahadat while leading his troops from the front during the fierce exchange of fire.
The ISPR continued, “A sanitization operation is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area.”
