The Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) has already deemed the building hazardous due to its obvious fissures and deteriorated status.
Thankfully, there were no reported injuries from the incident. According to the Director General of the SBCA, the building was empty of any families or individuals, and the building had already received notification from the SBCA prior to the rains.
He added that the district government has also been informed and that the SBCA is developing a plan to tear down the structure.
