Pakistani students were reminded by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) on Monday that the deadline for submitting an application for an international scholarship was approaching quickly.
The “Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme (2024–25)” has a deadline of January 15th, which is one week from now.
“The deadline for online applications is quickly approaching. January 15, 2024,” the commission stated on X, the former Twitter platform.
With the help of this scholarship, students from Pakistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir will be able to enroll in bachelor’s, master’s, one-tier master’s, and PhD programs at a number of Hungarian universities.
The minimum educational requirement for bachelor’s and one-tier master’s degrees is 12 years, whereas applicants to master’s programs need to have finished 16 years of school.
Individuals who have completed 17–18 years of education can apply for a PhD program in the interim.
In addition to paying for tuition, the scholarships will help students with living expenses and medical costs.
It should be noted, nevertheless, that the program will only help with a portion of the students’ costs and will not completely cover their living expenditures.
Additional information on the many degree programs and topics of study is available on the website mentioned in the post on X, which was formerly Twitter.
Applicants can visit HEC’s website for more information. They must submit their applications, together with their final degree and transcript, by August 1, 2024.
