The 39-year-old former Love Island host is among several who criticize the show’s culture, including Amanda Abbington and Zara McDermott.
Whitmore finished sixth in her series after being paired with Giovanni Pernice in 2016.
Before Pernice left for “personal reasons,” Abbington allegedly engaged in “threatening and abusive” behavior with her. The two were coupled last year.
The 33-year-old Pernice disputes the accusations and says he is helping with the investigation.
In an Instagram post, Whitmore claimed to have “initially raised concerns back in 2016”.
She stated, “I wanted to help and show support by setting the record straight because I feel there is a lot of misinformation in the press. I was trying not to comment on recent press speculation until the review is complete.”
