With the government officially authorizing the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to dispatch the team, the Bangladesh cricket team has been granted the all-clear to travel Pakistan.
Prior to announcing the tour, the BCB had requested authorization from the government due to the increased tensions between India and Pakistan. The Pakistan-Bangladesh series will proceed according to its original plan. Five Twenty20 matches will make up the series, which is scheduled to start on May 27.
All of the games will be held in Lahore and Faisalabad.
The inaugural Twenty20 International between Bangladesh and Pakistan was formerly scheduled for May 25 in Faisalabad.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) had consented to send a squad to Pakistan, according to sources close to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
