The Income Tax (Amendment) Bill and a number of other important laws were approved by the National Assembly on Wednesday by a majority vote. The Finance Minister introduced the Income Tax Amendment Bill.
The Civil Servants (Amendment) Bill 2025, the Pakistan Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, the Extradition (Amendment) Bill, and the Anti-Dumping Duties (Amendment) Bill were also adopted by the House. With a majority vote, the Citizenship Grant (Amendment) Bill was also approved.
Jam Kamal proposed the Anti-Dumping Duties (Amendment) Bill, while Talal Chaudhry, the Minister of State for Interior, submitted the bills pertaining to citizenship.
