On August 6, 2024, Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail of Balochistan will officially open the PIA’s direct flight service from Quetta to Saudi Arabia.
On Tuesday, the province governor received a visit from the PIA delegation, which was headed by Abdul Ghaffar Mian Khail, General Manager of Balochistan.
The governor declared during the meeting that giving the public access to direct flights was a “good initiative.” Every day flight from Quetta to Saudi Arabia by the national flag carrier airline would be guaranteed.
According to Jaffar Khan, travelers would also have access to ATMs, first aid kits, and currency exchange services at Quetta Airport.
The governor expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for providing air travel facilities for the people of Balochistan.
