Amidst divisions within the party, Ali Amin Gandapur, the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, announced the decision.
PTI’s Peshawar district president, MNA Arbab Sher Ali, and Peshawar region president, MNA Atif Khan, were removed from their party positions, per an official notification that was confirmed by Chief Minister Gandapur.
Irfan Saleem has taken over as the new Peshawar district president, succeeding Arbab Sher Ali, who expressed relief at being freed from the difficult position. Asim Khan has been named the new president of the Peshawar region, taking Atif Khan’s place.
