RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s facilities have reportedly been withheld by the Adiala jail administration, despite the party’s insistence that he is experiencing difficulties due to a lack of appropriate facilities.
Khan had access to all the amenities listed in the jail manual, according to the superintendent of Central Jail Rawalpindi, also known as the Adiala jail, with extra consideration given to his security and well-being.
One English newspaper is sent to the PTI founder every day. To stay in shape, he has a place to walk and an exercise machine,” he remarked.
The former prime minister and his imprisoned spouse, Bushra Bibi, had been given a separate kitchen, the jail official continued, and prison guards were on duty around the clock to ensure his safety.”There is no veracity in the news of an open sewer in Khan’s cell or rats in Bushra’s,” the official stated, rejecting the report about an open sewer and rats in Bushra Bibi’s cell.
