The district administration of Multan has announced a 2 percent cut in commercial tariffs for both passenger transport and goods transport businesses in response to a decline in fuel costs.
“We have reduced fares by 2% after consultations with transporters and under the leadership of the Deputy Commissioner of Multan,” stated Mohsin Nisar, Secretary of the Regional Transport Authority (RTA). Both passenger services and cargo transport agencies are affected by this cut.
Thanks to the district administration’s initiative, residents now have more reasonably priced travel options.
Passengers said: “I visit Vahari on a regular basis. The fare was decreased by fifty rupees from the previous four hundred rupees. But the decrease in the cost of AC vehicles hasn’t been enough.”
