During a meeting with his British counterpart Angela Rayner, Senator Ishaq Dar, the deputy prime minister (PM) and foreign minister, emphasized the shared interests of Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
According to a statement released by the Foreign Office (FO), Secretary of State for Housing, Communities, and Local Government of the United Kingdom Rayner met with Deputy Prime Minister Dar during the latter’s visit to London.
Dar congratulated Rayner on her appointment as the British deputy prime minister at the time.
“He emphasized how crucial a robust alliance between Pakistan and the UK is to advancing the two nations’ common interests in both the bilateral and regional spheres. According to the FO statement, the deputy prime minister praised the diaspora of British-Pakistanis for their contributions to deepening the already strong bilateral relations between the two nations.
