The police have found vital evidence, including CCTV footage, in a key development in the inquiry into the murder of target of Javed Butt, brother-in-law of infamous mobster Khawaja Tareef, also known as Teefi Butt.
Four suspects were allegedly involved in the planned killing, according to sources close to the police, and they carried out their plot with the use of a motorcycle and rickshaw.
According to the investigation, a suspicious rickshaw was observed lingering outside the home of Javed Butt and his wife in Huma Block, Iqbal Town, while they were leaving.
The couple’s car was followed by a rickshaw and a motorcycle until they arrived at the FC underpass. The bikers were hit at this point because the automobile had slowed down.
