Officers were seen taking Hill out of his car, making him to lie face down on the road, and handcuffing him in bodycam footage of the incident that was made public on Monday.
Prior to Sunday’s opening game of the new season, Hill, 30, was stopped as he approached the team’s home stadium.
The wide receiver was held by three police officers in Miami Gardens, close to Hard Rock Stadium, in an event that sparked accusations of discriminatory policing.
In the footage, which captures Hill being hauled from his McClaren sports car and thrown to the ground after the football player rolls up the window.
