A number of people from Balochistan have achieved recognition both domestically and internationally. The best Wushu fighter in Pakistan, Shahzeb Rind, defeated his Indian opponent in a just twenty seconds. During the Venezuelan World Military Games, Mueed Baloch took home a gold medal.
Asrar Kakar, a scholar from Qila Abdullah, was the first Balochistani president of the Oxford Union. Rafi Baloch has made a name for himself as a cybersecurity specialist with international recognition.
Baloch women are advancing in public service as well. Pari Gul Tareen became the first ASP, Ayesha Zehri became the first Deputy Commissioner from Balochistan, and Aamna Baloch became the second woman to be appointed as Secretary of Foreign Affairs.
