Following their seizure of the microphones set out on the table in protest of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s derogatory remarks regarding the media fraternity during the Sangjani demonstration last week, journalists abstained from covering the PTI leaders’ press conference in Islamabad on Friday.
PTI leader Salman Akram Raja added, “What Gandapur said has nothing to do with our politics,” as the reporters who had come to cover the media discussion took up their microphones. Senator Shibli Faraz and party chief Raoof Hasan were with him.
Raj said that Gandapur would explain his remarks, but they were not aware of him, and they remained unmoved.
