Startling new information has been unearthed by Lahore law enforcement in the murder case of Javed Butt, Khawaja Tareef’s brother-in-law, popularly known as Teefi Butt.
The disclosures surfaced after Azhar and Ilyas, two suspected shooters, were apprehended. It is thought that they had a direct hand in the crime.
The arrested shooters admitted to performing four reconnaissance missions on Javed Butt’s home on Brandreth Road prior to carrying out the attack, according to authorities in the Organised Crime Unit. They acknowledged that they were preparing a second attempt to shoot Butt at Shah Alam Chowk.
The investigative unit found that the armed gunmen had been waiting for Javed Butt for two hours on the day of the murder, prepared to carry out their plan.
