Pakistan Army won the Inter-Department Basketball Championship 2024, which came to an end in Risalpur on September 21. Departmental teams from all throughout the nation participated in the five-day tournament, which took place from September 17 to September 21.
The top-ranked teams engaged in fierce competition during the pool-based event. Following the preliminary rounds, the defending champions Pakistan Army, WAPDA, POF, and PAF all earned berths in the semi-finals.
Pakistan Army defeated WAPDA and PAF defeated POF in the semi-finals, paving the way for an exciting championship match. Pakistan Army prevailed over PAF in the championship match on September 21 by a commanding score of 82–50, securing their title.
Prominent personalities from a variety of fields, including military personnel and high-ranking bureaucrats, attended the event.
