Tomorrow marks Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s attendance at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) session, where he will promote finding a solution to protracted international problems, mainly the Palestine and Kashmir disputes.
In addition, he plans to confront the growing issue of Islamophobia and encourage global collaboration in order to combat the effects of climate change.
The Prime Minister will hold talks with the President of the General Assembly and the UN Secretary-General while in town, in addition to meeting with a number of other international dignitaries. It is anticipated that he will highlight the necessity of changes to the global financial system and advocate for steps to lessen inequality in trade with other countries.
Shehbaz Sharif will restate Pakistan’s commitment to the UN’s role in maintaining world peace, security, and prosperity.
