In a crucial meeting at the Parliament House on October 2 (tomorrow), Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) Syed Asim Munir and intelligence chiefs will brief parliamentary leaders on problems of national security, sources told Geo News on Tuesday.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has called the pivotal meeting of the legislative leaders of the National Assembly and Senate for this Wednesday, according to a spokesperson for the NA.
The meeting is planned to take place in Parliament House on October 2, as stated by the spokeswoman.
The spokesperson disclosed that the meeting will take place in camera and stated, “A briefing on the security situation of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be given in the meeting.”
Senior leaders from security organizations and intelligence agencies were also reported by The News.
