ISLAMABAD: In light with the cabinet decision on August 27, The News reported on Friday that the Ministry of Health eliminated 654 positions and the Establishment Division eliminated 65 out of the 102 open positions.
The decision was sent in writing to the Accountant General of Pakistan Revenue by Section Officer Admin-II Sirfaraz Ahmad Sarohi. The elimination of these positions as Principal Accounting Officers was approved by the Secretary Establishment Division.
Accounts Officer Grade 18, Assistant Accounts Officer Grade 17, Two Assistant Directors Grade 17, One DCA Grade 16, Statistics Assistant Grade 15, and Two Research Assistants are among the positions eliminated.
