Senior Supreme Court judge Justice Mansoor Ali Shah wrote to Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Yahya Afridi just days before the new school year began, requesting that he respond to six questions about “pressing institutional concerns.”
In a letter, Justice Shah asked the CJP six pointed questions and urged him to answer them in public during the September 8 court meeting.
The letter said, “I write in discharge of my duty to the institution as the most senior judge after you.”
Despite multiple previous letters, Justice Shah stated that he has not heard back from the CJP either orally or in writing.
