According to a recent Gallup poll, 54% of Americans believe Trump can manage the economy better than Harris can, compared to 45% who think the opposite. For Republicans and all Americans, the economy was the most important topic; however, Democrats did not place it in the top five.
Democrats, according to seasoned Democratic strategist Hank Sheinkopf, are just sure about Harris’ ability to manage the economy.
Sheinkopf stated in an interview with News, “Independents are looking for a reason to vote for a candidate, but they just haven’t found it yet.”
Every election, Americans concentrate on the subject that matters most to them. It’s their pockets this time. And regardless of what the candidates say, people are still in pain. Harris has a limited amount of time to show that she can improve it.”
He continued by saying that polarization has a greater influence on voters’ perceptions of the economy than any other topic, making the case that the economics is just as politicized as immigration or abortion.
