Despite going through a number of personal challenges in the last few years, the former “Tonight Show” host has maintained an optimistic attitude.

Leno was in the intensive care unit in 2022 after suffering third-degree burns to his face in an accident as he was working on one of his cars in his garage.

But he gave an emphatic “No!” when asked if he ever felt anxious about going back to his garage.
In a fire, I was burned. I got gas all over my face. Something jumped. The question is not, “How did this happen?” “I mean, people get burned every day,” he joked on News

Leno reported that he missed two days of work and was absent from the hospital for eight and a half days. It wasn’t bad, then. Believe me, it was better than the fractured leg.

He shattered his leg in a motorcycle accident two months after requiring numerous skin grafts for face injuries.

The man had to wire across a driveway while I was on my motorcycle, but he didn’t have a flag. The sun was in my eyes when I turned around. Thus, it ripped my face apart, the 74-year-old remarked., adding that his popularity caused people to react more violently.
