The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested a Brazilian woman Thursday at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi after discovering 1.396 kg of cocaine hidden among her possessions.
The estimated market value of the cocaine is around Rs13.9 million.
Officials said the pills were concealed in plastic bags when the woman, who was traveling on a private plane, arrived at the airport. The Anti-Narcotics Act has now charged her.
The ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in Pakistan are strengthened by this arrest.
