Concerned about the state of law and order after the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf march to the federal capital, the Islamabad administration has made it clear that government offices will stay open on Monday (tomorrow).
Irfan Memon, the deputy commissioner for Islamabad, issued a statement saying, “Tomorrow [Monday] is not a holiday.”
All educational institutions inside the boundaries of the Islamabad Capital Territory would be closed tomorrow, according to a previous announcement by the federal capital administration. Although no explanation was given in the notification, the PTI’s objection prompted the government to lock down the city.
Imran Khan, the imprisoned former prime minister, has called on his followers to march in support of democracy and the judiciary towards Islamabad on November 24.
