The price of gold in Pakistan experienced a minor decline on Monday following its historic high on Saturday.
Data from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) shows that the cost of a tola of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs200, coming in at Rs260,000.
The cost of ten grams of 24-karat gold decreased as well, going from Rs172 to Rs222,908.
The price of gold experienced a minor decline on a global scale as well. The pricing per ounce increased to $2,502 after falling by $5.
Nonetheless, the local market’s silver prices stayed steady at Rs2,950.
Gold’s last all-time high was recorded on July 18, following a two-day Ashura break, during which the yellow metal saw a sharp increase.
