RAWALPINDI: According to the military’s media wing on Thursday, an Indian top commander has praised the professionalism of Pakistani peacekeepers for carrying out their tasks to maintain peace and security in South Sudan in accordance with the mandate given by the UN Security Council (UNSC).
The Force Commander United Mission in South Sudan, Lieutenant General S Mohan of India, praised the Pakistani troops in a letter to General Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The military’s press office stated, “[In his letter], the Indian General Officer praised the professionalism, dedication, and unwavering commitment of Pakistani Peacekeepers.”
