During a meeting with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir at the General Headquarter in Rawalpindi on Monday, General Li Qiaoming, Commander of the People’s Liberation Army Ground Forces, expressed admiration for Pakistan’s coordinated efforts in combating terrorism and extremism, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
During the discussion, the Chinese general also praised the Pakistani army for their steadfast professionalism and devotion.
The military’s media branch stated that the gathering “provided an opportunity for in-depth discussions on matters of mutual interest, regional security, military training, and measures to further augment bilateral defense cooperation.”
The army chief also emphasized the strong ties that exist between the People’s Liberation Army and the Pakistan Army, emphasizing the continuous military cooperation between the two forces.
