In their first-round match, Raducanu, 21, takes on Kenin, another Grand Slam winner, at approximately 23:30 BST (18:30 local time).
On day two of the last big tournament of the 2024 season, three more Britons play: Katie Boulter, Jack Draper, and Dan Evans.
Raducanu, who shocked everyone by capturing the title in New York as a juvenile qualifier, will once again be the center of attention.
Raducanu missed the competition last year and lost in the first round a year later while coping with the attention that followed her seismic victory.
After an impressive run to the Wimbledon fourth round in July, she has returned to the world’s top 75, but she has only participated in one tournament since, reaching the quarterfinals in Washington.
“I adore this competition and have some incredible memories from it. About her return to Flushing Meadows, Raducanu remarked, “It’s a great feeling to be back and to see my face on the wall and my name on the trophy.”
