ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has been accused of using the nation’s economy as a political tool, a move that the government has vowed to oppose. Rana Sanaullah Khan is PM Shehbaz Sharif’s advisor on political and public affairs.
The prime minister’s advisor and important PMLN figure stated in an interview with The News on Saturday that the government cannot afford to give the PTI too much leeway given its track record. He was questioned regarding the rationale for the government’s prohibitions on PTI’s open marches, gatherings, and rallies.
The advisor to PM Shehbaz emphasized that the PTI has been attempting on several occasions to harm the nation’s economy in order to attack the government for political purposes.
