The Finance Division announced that government employees up to grade 16 would receive a 25% boost in their ad hoc relief stipend.
In a same vein, government employees’ ad hoc relief allowance has increased by 20% from grade 17 to grade 22.
Concurrently, the division announced a 15 percent increase in federal employee pensions, as suggested in the Budget 2024.
The following was stated in the notification from the Finance Division: “The President has sanctioned an Adhoc Relief Allowance 2024 to all federal government employees, including those paid from defense estimates, contingent paid staff, and contract employees employed against civil posts in basic pay scales on standard terms and conditions. This includes armed forces personnel, civil armed forces, and federal employees.”
