Social media users have been talking a lot lately about the marriage between journalist Shiffa Yousafzai and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Hammad Azhar.
The rumors started when well-known journalist Najam Ul Hassan Bajwa declared, congratulating the newlyweds, that a senior PTI official from Lahore had tied the knot with another journalist.
In a lighthearted reply, Azhar accepted the praise for his appearance but promised his supporters that he would let them know immediately if something similar happened in the future.
In order to dispel the accusations, Yousafzai posted on social media, saying, “Dear friends, I have not married anyone; I am being unjustly targeted on social media.”
She underlined that the information being around is untrue and referred to the current conversations as meaningless.
