least eight Palestinians have been killed in two separate Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip according to local medics and emergency teams. The Gaza Strip is a place where people live. It is very sad when people get hurt or killed.
There was a drone strike in Beit Lahia. Beit Lahia is a town in Gaza. Five people lost their lives when a drone strike hit a group near a mosque in Beit Lahia. This happened on Wednesday evening.
Among those killed were three children. These children were very young. Two adults, Alaa Balousha, who was forty six years old and Anas Abu Foul who was nineteen years old also died in the strike.
The Israeli military said they targeted a person who they thought was a threat near the Yellow Line. The Israeli military said this person was a suspected militant who approached their forces.
Families Mourn Young Victims
On Thursday morning families gathered outside al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City. People were very sad and grieving.
Amna al-Abed, the mother of two victims said she woke up to shelling and could not find her children beside her. When she stepped outside she found them lying on the ground. This was a sad moment for her.
Relatives of another victim said there is no ceasefire or safety left in the Gaza Strip. They think it is not safe to live in the Gaza Strip.
Second Israeli Strike Kills Three in Central Gaza
The Civil Defence reported that one of their responders Hazem al-Aidi was among the dead. The Israeli military said they are reviewing the incident.
Ceasefire Under Growing Pressure
Although a ceasefire has been in place since October tensions remain high. Violence continues to break out across the Gaza Strip.
Both sides continue to accuse each other of violating the ceasefire agreement raising concerns about escalation. The Israeli strikes and the Palestinian attacks are making it hard to have peace, in the Gaza Strip.
