ISLAMABAD: The second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), according to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, will assist Pakistan in transforming its economy on Thursday.
Talking at a celebration of China’s 75th anniversary hosted by the Chinese Embassy, Prime Minister Shehbaz stated: “We are entering the second phase of CPEC which has huge potential of mutual cooperation in the field of agriculture, information technology, mines and minerals and many other important areas of mutual interests.”
He praised the Chinese people and government, highlighting China’s standing as a major player in world events and a global force.
“Pakistan and China have a friendship that reaches beyond the Himalayas and the oceans.”
