PTI senior leader Shehryar Afridi has declared that his party will have “dialogues with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and the Director General of the Inter-Services Intelligence (DG ISI) soon” in place of speaking with “rejected people” who entered parliament through “Form 47,” following calls to begin a new round of reconciliation negotiations.
Afridi made the remarks when asked for his thoughts on how to steer the nation toward political stability during an interview for the Geo News show Naya Pakistan.
Criticizing the government led by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), the PTI stalwart claimed that the current leaders are a group of “rejected people” who are “controlled through remote” and entered parliament using “Form 47”.
