KARACHI: On Saturday, Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab denounced ongoing traffic blockades in Karachi “under the guise of protest” as being improper.

The demonstrators were also chastised by the mayor for causing damage to recently built roadways. Speaking to media, he questioned, “Who allowed them to damage the roads constructed recently in New Karachi?”

The fourth day of protest sit-ins by a political-religious party in Karachi has begun, and because major routes have been closed, commuters are experiencing severe traffic interruptions and discomfort.

According to the most recent information, the protest demonstrations are taking place at over 12 distinct locations, including major thoroughfares, which are causing traffic jams practically everywhere in the port city.

The protest protests are taking place at Golimar, Power, Malir-15, Sharea Faisal, and Numaish Chowrangi.
