The ongoing talks between the PTI and the government have stalled since National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq is not in the country, according to Rana Sanaullah, adviser to the prime minister on political and public affairs, who made this revelation on Wednesday.
Speaking at a press conference, Sanaullah stated that the NA speaker was currently on a foreign tour and that negotiations would start as soon as he got back to the nation.
On December 27, 2024, and January 2, 2025, the two parties had two negotiation sessions following months of a political tug-of-war. However, rumors regarding the future of the PTI-government discussions were sparked by the third session of talks’ unexpected delay.
The PM’s assistant attacked the former ruling party, claiming that PTI was disseminating the “narrative.”
