WASHINGTON: At the request of newly elected US President Donald Trump, prominent figures from around the world, including Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), attended the National Prayer Breakfast.
The incident happened in Washington, the capital of the United States, at 7 a.m. According to The News, the brunch lasted for about seven hours, ending at 2:00 pm.
While his father and President Asif Ali Zardari were meeting with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping in Beijing’s Great Hall of the People, Bilawal was present for Trump’s breakfast ceremony. On this occasion, President Zardari declared, “We are allies of China first, then of anyone else.”
Around the same period, two of Pakistan’s top leaders conducted talks with the heads of state of two major international powers.
