On a two-day official visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Abu Dhabi to speak at the World Governments Summit (WGS).
Since taking office in March 2024, PM Shehbaz has made two trips to the United Arab Emirates.
The prime met with Emirati leaders when he first arrived in the United Arab Emirates, but he also had appointments with Pakistani and Emirati businessmen.
The premier will underscore Pakistan’s ambition for inclusive economic growth, digital transformation, and governance reforms in his keynote speech at the World Government Summit in Dubai tomorrow.
“The Summit will bring together a large number of Heads of State/Government, global policymakers, and leading private sector figures to discuss the future of governance, innovation and international cooperation,” the spokeswoman for the Foreign Office stated.
