RAWALPINDI: After meeting her brother in Adiala jail on Tuesday, Aleema Khan cited Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), as reiterating his position that he will not make any agreements with the government, regardless of the amount of pressure exerted.
The rebellious PTI founder’s comments coincided with online and social media claims that the erstwhile ruling party was once again attempting to negotiate back channels with the establishment, with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur allegedly being a major player in the endeavor.
The news was informed by a reliable source that Gandapur is reviving the conversation by using his contacts.
