KARACHI: In honor of International Labor Day, the Sindh government has declared Wednesday, May 1, to be a public holiday throughout the province.
All government and semi-government offices would be closed on the day, the Services, General Administration, and Coordination Department announced in a notification.
In the meantime, educational establishments such as colleges, universities, and schools would all be closed on this vacation.
Every year on May 1, the globe observes Labour Day, often called May Day, to show support for workers and to recognize working class rights.
