According to a handout, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has implemented a Temporary Mobile Registration System to facilitate the usage of mobile phones by foreign visitors and Pakistanis living abroad.
According to a news release from the authorities, temporary travelers can register their personal mobile devices under this program for a maximum of 120 days. They can use this service throughout each visit to Pakistan.
This user-friendly solution is made to guarantee travelers’ continuous cellphone connectivity, facilitating communication while they are in Pakistan.
