LAHORE: As tensions between Islamabad and New Delhi escalate in the wake of the Pahalgam incident, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi issued a warning on Saturday, saying that every Pakistani would fight to the death to protect the nation’s independence and sovereignty if any attempt was made to restrict its rights.
Reiterating that Pakistan is a peaceful country and calling for an unbiased and open probe into the incident, Naqvi denied accusations that Pakistan was involved in the recent Pahalgam attack while speaking at a press conference in Lahore.
“Pakistan is ready to fully cooperate with any neutral party conducting a probe, as we seek to expose the real perpetrators behind the attack,” he stated.
