SUKKUR/ISLAMABAD: Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, the chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and a former foreign minister, has urged both Islamabad and New Delhi to use dialogue to settle their differences amid the ongoing tensions between the two nations, according to a Sunday News story.
Bilawal bemoaned New Delhi’s stance on negotiations in an interview with a private television network, saying: “The [Pakistani] government also offered talks, but India rejected it.”
The PPP chief’s comments coincide with the diplomatic escalation between the two nuclear-armed nations after tourists were attacked in the Pahalgam area of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJK), killing 26 people.
