According to the armed group’s TV channel, a US airstrike on a detention facility in Houthi-controlled northwestern Yemen has killed at least 68 African migrants.
When the center in Saada province was bombed, 47 more migrants were hurt, the most of them critically, according to Al Masirah. It shared gory video of several bodies buried in the debris of a demolished structure.
According to a US defense officer, the Central Command of the US military was aware of the civilian casualty reports.
The attack occurred just hours after Central Command declared that its troops had hit over 800 targets.
